On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, a LOTUS-inVivo micro-CT scanner was installed in the pre-clinical laboratory of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS). This laboratory will soon be ready to serve dear researchers in Khorasan Razavi and other nearby provinces.

The LOTUS-inVivo micro-CT scanner was meticulously designed and manufactured by Iranian experts at Behin Negareh, a prominent knowledge-based company, marking a significant milestone in advancing pre-clinical studies. As its name suggests, LOTUS-inVivo is utilized for pre-clinical studies such as small animal imaging, bone marrow, teeth and other body part structural imaging, etc. Spectacular and unique capabilities of this scanner have made it a user-friendly, device-of-choice for qualitive and quantitative pre-clinical studies.
